More about this item
Rare copper plaque made in Jerusalem by Bezalel, pre- 1948.
The image etched depicts Jews praying by the western wall.
On the bottom you can see the words (in Hebrew)- Bezalel kotel ma'aravi Jerusalem (spelled Yerusalem).
Looking at the reverse side there seems to be a date etched on the lower right corner. The inscription is unclear, to me it looks like 1930. I added a close up of this inscription.
The plaque comes without a frame or hanging loop.
Condition is very good with few marks and bends on the copper.
