Antique (circa 1920) French metal corkscrew 

 

body has an open bell shape; two handles- the top one is fixed and the bottom one has a valve shape and it moves

 

both sides are marked on top - "Helice Depose JP" and "J Perille Depose Paris"

 

any plating that might have been is long gone, and the marks are not easy to read. overall very good condition with a wonderful patina

 

length is 6" when closed 

 

weight is 140 grams
